Finals next week? Let’s go to Bamboozle!

‘Completely ridiculous’ is the best way to sum up my first road trip to New Jersey; that happened to be the weekend before finals started. Two days before my first final, I was partaking in activities that tend to make you forget what has been going on over the last few days as opposed to spending exorbitant amounts of time cramming in every little fact and rule that might get you a point here or there on the most important tests of the semester.

I guess it goes without saying that I wasn’t at all worried about my finals. I’d payed attention during the year and everything turned out fine. Anyways, enough of the chit-chat about academics; boy did we have ourselves a time down in Jersey.

Whether you saw me swinging around half-hanging out of the ferris wheel, doing gymnastics on the golf cart driving 20 mph, or doing back-flips off of light posts at the hotel, I think it goes without saying that I get energetic when I’m on any kind of substance; caffeine or otherwise…haha. You can find pictures here but here are some highlights: The Participants

What a hell of a weekend. And to top it off, we missed the Boston water emergency in the process. Well I hope I haven’t completely destroyed my image as an upstanding, responsible citizen (shh, don’t tell me mom 😉 haha), but it was bound to get out sometime. Most of the time I try to make rational decisions, but I really can’t justify the circumstances of this weekend; other than that it turned out to be amazing and I pulled out even better grades than I expected. I’m not going to make a pattern of this one though. Let’s call it an end of the semester fluke and leave it at that.

Have you ever made a completely irrational decision that turned out to be better than expected?
